As St. Paul tells us, “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each one give as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9, 6-7).
The use of our talents time and money in Saints Peter and Paul is considered a vital part of our spiritual formation. Through the sacrificial use of our possessions we are able to return to God the fruit from the gifts He has given us.
The daily needs of our community continue to be met by two full time priests, a pastoral assistant, and a secretary. Baptisms, weddings, funerals, churchings, confessions, memorials and a regular cycle of weekly services form a dynamic and challenging schedule for our staff. It is a wonderful and exciting time to be a part of this growing parish. May God grant us many years.
As our parish continues to grow, so do our daily costs. In order to fulfill our budget obligations, we need your gracious financial commitment to continue this good work. Saints Peter and Paul operates on a stewardship program. It places the responsibility of our church support where it belongs – in the hands of each parishioner. It recognizes that the support of your parish is a matter of personal commitment and conscience.
Stewardship pledges are critical to the activities and ongoing operation of our parish, and they should be Saints Peter and Paul’s primary funding source. Our church continues to be blessed, as our costs grow, so do our pledges. Each year our parish continues to give generously.
Signed pledge cards help us to budget for the ever growing needs of our parish. Our goal is to get 100% participation from all of our families. If you have not filled out the pledge form, please download it here and email or mail to the church office or drop it off at the candle table at church. You can pay your stewardship pledge in whatever way is most convenient for you: weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. We even have some members who give stocks and bonds.
Many ask how much to give to the church. The answer is between you and God. Your giving should reflect the blessings God has given you.
We especially remember those who have gone before us who helped to provide this wonderful church for us and our children. It is our responsibility to help the parish continue to grow and flourish. Your pledge and your financial support are extremely important and appreciated.
