When you arrive:
1. Drain any remaining water from the tank and turn dial to boil 3
2. After approximately 20 minutes, the needle will be in the red zone
3. Make coffee within 20 minutes of serving so that the coffee will not be stale – making it takes less than 10 minutes
4. Open the top lids
5. Place one filter in each basket
6. Place one bag of coffee in each basket – Decaf on the right side
7. Open the left and right spigots to drain any remnant liquid
8. Close the spigots
9. Swing the water arm over one basket, close the lid, and push the BREW button. Please DO NOT push the button more than once!
10. The water will stop automatically once filled
11. Now swing the water arm over the other basket, and press the BREW button to fill that side
12. Using a water pitcher, fill the portable coffee urns from the spigots, place them on a cart on the serving table
Cleaning up:
1. Remove the filters with the coffee grinds and discard them in a lined trash can – NOT DOWN THE SINK
2. Using the center hot water spigot, fill the water pitcher with hot water and pour it into the top basket to rinse it out – then drain out the tank
3. Repeat this until the water runs clear
4. Leave about one inch of water in each coffee tank to protect the heating elements
5. Repeat the rinse and drain for the other coffee tank
6. Leave about an inch of water in the tank
7. Turn the dial to the off position
8. Clean out and rinse out the portable coffee urns
